Data Center Consulting Engineer - Mechanical

**Job Description** + A strong desire and capability to learn, grow, and develop new skills. + Oversee Tenant Improvement works associated with white space fit out of new data center spaces. + Empower a culture of safety, security, and compliance in all aspect of data center activities. + Understand the design and functionality of your datacenter. + Work with design, construction, and commissioning teams to properly integrate the new mechanical systems to existing data centers. + Support and validate on-site datacenters operations in relation to the mechanical infrastructure. + Be a mechanical SME to support on-site operations related to mission critical mechanical system, operations, and functionality. + Develop digitized mechanical distribution templates to support rack placement. + Empower operational optimization and efficiency improvement initiatives. **Responsibilities** + Reviewing new sites and proposed fit out designs. + Ensuring mechanical plans are accurate, fail-over design are compliant. + Developing digitized mechanical models. + Supporting supplier whitespace fit out. + Ensuring documentation is captured, stored, referenced, and share with field engineering and operation teams. + Supporting engineering investigations into large scale events. + Supporting field engineering teams. May be eligible for bonus and equity. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity. Oracle US offers a comprehensive benefits package which includes the following: 1. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation. 9. 11 paid holidays 10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours. 11. Paid parental leave 12.
