We are seeking an experienced Life Safety Systems Estimator to join our team! You will resolve customer questions and offer solutions to drive company revenue.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for surveying the customer job site to obtain information on the system
  environment prior to bid finalization.

• Work with technical staff to determine system layout.

• Accurately develops bill of materials to include appropriate amount of job-related labor to
  perform the project.

• Oversees / Works with CAD Operator to develop a comprehensive set of drawings for the
  project.

• Responsible for generating comprehensive project description and scope of work.

• Update of company pricing schedules.

• Update of cooperative purchasing contract pricing.

• Other duties as required or assigned by company management.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be responsible, self-motivated, self-starter, personable and well-organized.
• Superior customer service skills to deal with both internal and external customers.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work with diverse groups.
• Proficiency in the use of personal computers including such programs as MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Ability to demonstrate planning, organizing and implementing skills which allow the successful completion of a project by a specific due date.
• Must be able to effectively handle stressful situations.
• Must be able to read and effectively interpret general business documentation.
• Valid and current driver’s license.

Additional Preferred Experience:

• Familiarity with manufacturers such as Gamewell-FCI, Autocall, Firelite , Avigilon, Bosch, Telecor, HID and others.

• Knowledge of system integration and hybrid infrastructure for multi-system designs.

• Experience estimating retrofit projects with existing building constraints.

Other:

• Occasional travel to customer and vendor site is required, only in the State of Arizona.
• Responsible for having a reliable source of daily transportation. (Company Vehicle is provided for company use)

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
