Located in the beautiful Scottsdale Quarter, Liz Modern Asian is a local favorite known for our incredible, scratch-made modern Asian fare. We treat our guests like family, and we take pride in serving high-quality dishes, we need you to help make our hand craft dumplings and soup dumplings.
The Role: We are looking for an energetic, highly reliable Team Member to join our crew. This is a unique, "hybrid" role where you will help run the restaurant business. You will spend your day in the back of the house (BOH) to prep and cook, and in the front of the house (FOH) interacting with our guests. Catering, meal prep and mass production is the desired skill set we are looking for!
What You Will Do:
- Culinary Prep: Assist the kitchen with daily meal prep, including chopping, portioning, and the hands-on folding/prep of our famous dumplings and buns.
- Line Cooking: Cooking during busy service hours.
- Front of House (FOH) Support: Maintain a clean, highly presentable appearance to step out front, greet guests, run food, and help the dining room run smoothly.
- Maintain the Standard: Keep our restaurant spotless. This includes deep cleaning the kitchen, mopping floors, doing dishes, and taking out the trash.

- A highly positive, coachable attitude. You must be willing to take direction and learn our recipes to perfection.
- Professional & Presentable: Because you will be interacting with our guests in the dining room, a neat, presentable, and friendly appearance is an absolute must.
- Hustle & Work Ethic: The restaurant industry is fast-paced. You must be comfortable staying on your feet, moving quickly, and tackling cleaning duties (like mopping and dishwashing) with zero complaints.
