Overview: We are seeking an experienced Electrical Hardware Engineer to design and customize high-performance circuit boards for precision electronic measurement and control systems. In this hands-on role, you will collaborate closely with a senior engineer to take projects from concept through schematic design, PCB layout, prototype bring-up, and validation.

This is a full-time, on-site position with a consistent Monday–Friday schedule and a flexible start time.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and modify board-level circuits for custom electronic hardware.

• Create and review schematics, develop layout rules, and oversee PCB layout through manufacturing.

• Lead bring-up, debugging, and validation of new boards, including test planning and documentation.

• Design and validate Windows PC add-in cards with PCIe interfaces, ensuring high-speed signal integrity and compliance.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to move designs from prototype to production.

• Contribute ideas for future revisions and product improvements.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in board-level circuit design from concept through bring-up.

• Hands-on design and validation experience with PCIe interfaces and Windows PC add-in cards.

• Proficiency in professional PCB design tools such as PCAD, Cadence, or Altium.

• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently.

Desired Skills

• Ability to develop or extend test and control software for prototypes and production tools.

• Familiarity with C++ and/or MFC in a Windows environment.

• Working knowledge of RF concepts from 10 kHz to 1 GHz.

• Experience with accurate amplitude and phase measurements using RF instrumentation.

• Understanding of precision programmable DC power supply design.

First 90 Days

• Modify and enhance existing designs based on active client orders.

• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to bring a board from design to test to delivery.

• Troubleshoot and validate hardware to ensure performance and reliability.

Growth Opportunities

• Progress from modifying existing designs to owning complete designs from concept through production.

• Influence product direction with ideas for new features and next-generation improvements.
