How you will enjoy your day:

Perform repairs on HVAC/R equipment and the kitchen and laundry equipment. Assist with the plumbing and electrical projects.

Work Performed :

1. Maintain preventative maintenance records on all HVAC/R equipment, laundry and kitchen equipment
2. Repair and replacement of all HVAC/R equipment
3. Change all filters on equipment
4. Repair and maintain all kitchen and laundry equipment
5. Fill out parts requests and keep stock of replacement parts
6. Help control budget expenses
7. Keep area in shop clean and organized
8. Work with engineers on completion of projects
9. Complete work orders as assigned
10. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of the other employees and guests
11. Perform Engineer on Duty responsibilities, including readings and rounds and lead other engineers in maintenance duties
12. Proficient use of computer systems
13. Perform high level skills with laundry and kitchen equipment
14. Assist with general maintenance and upkeep of the resorts systems and facilities
15. Check and monitor work performed by engineering staff
16. Help control budget and costs
17. Direct involvement with resolution of guest issues and complaints and follow up with the guest and follow-up after the guest checks out
18. Other duties as assigned

Responsibility & Authority :

1. Maintain a high level of guest service at all times in all guest services areas
2. Works closely with all departments to ensure guest service levels are being met
3. Ensure the safety and comfort of the guests and employees

Minimum Requirements :

High school education or equivalent work experience. Formal training in HVAC and certification. At least 3 years experience in hotel/motel, high rise building or commercial HVAC/R. Must have strong organizational skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to perform and prioritize multiple tasks with ease. Computer skills required. Strong guest and team member relations skills. Safety sensitive position.
