As a Security Officer - Government Unarmed Patrol in Tucson, AZ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As an unarmed officer in a government setting, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment by routinely monitoring the assigned location. Your visible presence throughout the site will help to deter security-related incidents and foster a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors and staff. This primarily driving post requires you to navigate the area, remain observant, and respond promptly to any security-related concerns. In addition to overseeing the premises, you will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with everyone you encounter, and uphold the Allied Universal values of teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach. Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report any security-related irregularities, hazards, or incidents as per established protocols.
• Assist authorized personnel and visitors as needed, while maintaining a professional presence.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders if required according to site protocols.
• Complete required reports and documentation for all incidents, patrols, and observations during the shift.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
• A Guard Card or security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
