Cardiology Medical Assistant
Medical Assistant – Cardiology OrthoArizona is a physician‑owned orthopedic practice with over 25 clinics across the Valley. We are expanding into cardiology and need a Medical Assistant to support pre‑operative cardiac services. Location and Compensation South Gilbert, AZ • Full‑time • $24‑30 per hour. What You Will Do Prepare patients for examination and treatment, including vitals and history. Input and maintain EMR documentation. Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are clean and equipped. Conduct EKGs and assist with cardiac procedures. Support physicians and nurses during patient examinations and treatments. Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining records, and managing voicemail. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program. Current CPR certification. Understanding of basic cardiology terminology, procedures, and diagnostic tests. Ability to perform EKGs, stress tests, and assist with cardiac procedures. Strong technical aptitude and attention to detail. At least two years of experience in a medical office. At least two years of experience with EKGs. 1+ year using an EMR with ModMed / EMA experience strongly preferred. Benefits Medical, dental, and vision coverage. Life, disability, and pet insurance.
