Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid and current Occupational Therapy license, or eligibility to obtain one in Arizona
• Previous experience within a school setting preferred, but not required
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with students, educators, and families
• Ability to adapt interventions and lesson plans to meet individual student needs
• Understanding of IEPs, goal-setting for students, and data collection for progress monitoring

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students based on IEP recommendations and therapeutic assessments
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting motor skills, sensory processing, and functional tasks
• Collaborate closely with special education staff, teachers, and parents to foster holistic student progress
• Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and staff consultations
• Maintain timely documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state requirements
• Promote a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages student independence
