Job Description: Key Member / Shift Lead

Reports to: General Manager / Assistant Manager

We’re looking for a motivated Key Member / Shift Lead to help lead our Gilbert team, deliver an excellent guest experience, and ensure smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Leadership & Training
  

  • Lead front-of-house and back-of-house team members during assigned shifts.
    

  • Support new team member onboarding and ongoing training.
    

  • Model sneakybird’s values: high energy, guest-first mindset, and attention to detail.
    

• Operations Management
  

  • Open and/or close the restaurant, following established procedures.
    

  • Ensure food quality, portioning, and presentation standards are met every shift.
    

  • Monitor ticket times and maintain speed of service goals.
    

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
    

• Guest Experience
  

  • Deliver a 5-star customer experience, solving issues quickly and professionally.
    

  • Support upselling and loyalty program engagement with guests.
    

  • Build relationships with regulars and ensure every guest feels welcome.
    

• Team & Culture
  

  • Motivate and direct the team to achieve performance and service goals.
    

  • Communicate effectively with General Manager and Assistant Manager.
    

  • Promote a positive, fun, and accountable workplace culture.
    

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, food service, or customer service experience preferred.
  

• Leadership experience (formal or informal) is a plus.
  

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  

• Must be at least 18 years old.
  

Schedule & Availability

• Flexible schedule with availability for nights and weekends.
  

• Reliable transportation required.
