Position Overview

NextGen Coating and Roofing Systems is seeking a hardworking and dependable Spray Foam & Roofing Laborer to join our growing team. This position supports the installation, repair, and maintenance of spray foam roofing systems, roof coatings, and low-slope roofing projects for both residential and commercial properties.

The ideal candidate has at least 6 months of experience in roofing, construction, spray foam application, coatings, or a related trade and is eager to grow their skills while working alongside experienced roofing professionals.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the installation and application of Spray Polyurethane Foam (SPF) roofing systems
• Support low-slope residential and commercial roofing projects
• Assist with roof coating applications including silicone, acrylic, and elastomeric coatings
• Perform roof repairs, maintenance, and restoration work
• Prepare roof surfaces through cleaning, pressure washing, priming, patching, and masking
• Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment to job sites
• Assist with setup, operation, and cleanup of spray foam and coating equipment
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all company safety procedures and fall protection requirements
• Work efficiently as part of a team to complete projects on schedule
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors and crew leaders

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of experience in roofing, construction, spray foam application, coatings, or a related field
• Experience with low-slope residential and/or commercial roofing projects preferred
• Experience assisting with roof coating applications and repairs is a plus
• Ability to perform physically demanding work in outdoor environments
• Ability to lift and carry 50+ pounds regularly
• Comfortable working on ladders, lifts, and rooftops
• Valid Driver's License preferred
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work well as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with spray foam roofing systems
• Experience with commercial roof coatings
• OSHA 10 Certification
• Fall Protection Training
• Bilingual English/Spanish

Physical Requirements

• Lift, carry, push, and pull 50+ pounds regularly
• Stand, bend, kneel, climb, and work on rooftops throughout the workday
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat and sun exposure
• Wear required PPE and safety equipment
