Vaco Arizona is partnering with a top client in Tolleson that is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join their growing team. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on accounting professional who enjoys overseeing accounting operations while leading key financial processes, including Accounts Payable, payroll review, and month-end close activities. Responsibilities: Oversee the full Accounts Payable function, including invoice processing, vendor management, and payment approvals Manage daily accounting operations and ensure accuracy of financial records Review payroll for accuracy and resolve discrepancies prior to processing Lead month-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting Perform balance sheet reconciliations and maintain the integrity of financial data Assist with cash management, budgeting, and financial analysis Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and strengthen internal controls Support internal and external audit requests Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff Requirements: Hands-on accounting experience with strong Accounts Payable and month-end close expertise 3 years of progressive accounting experience Previous leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
