Full-Time and Part-Time Positions Available:

Colors of the West is currently hiring outgoing full-time and part-time retail associates to join our team of professionals. Like being a team player? This opportunity takes place in a fast-paced retail store environment. As a retail associate, you will be responsible for a variety of duties including providing exceptional customer service, cashiering, merchandising, stocking merchandise, replenishing merchandise, folding, hanging, displaying and merchandising our unique product mix.

Our preferred candidate will be friendly with a great work ethic and have a retail sales background, cash register experience, basic inventory understanding, and multi-tasking ability. If you don't have all these skills, no problem, we'll be happy to train you.

Responsibilities

• Performs cashiering duties properly, recording the sales in the register accurately and following correct accounting procedures.
• Assists whenever necessary in keeping the sales floor and stock room clean and organized; includes sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, polishing, mopping and trash removal.
• Assists with inventory control, receiving, stocking and merchandise display.
• Maintains a well-groomed, clean, and neat appearance.
• Other duties assigned.

Abilities and/or Skills :

• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Strong work ethic, personal integrity and character, positive attitude
• Available to work day/evening shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Complete customer transactions using POS register system
• Promote a strong sense of teamwork by working together safely, effectively, respectfully and efficiently with all associates.
• Ability to function with flexibility and courteous behavior in a high traffic retail operation.
• Acquire and demonstrate a basic knowledge of product information when used as part of a professional sales approach.
