Diesel Mechanic Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $25.00 to $28.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 04:30pm )

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel engines, transmissions, braking systems, and related components.
• Perform preventative maintenance services, including oil changes, lubrication, and filter replacements.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve problems.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and service recommendations.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Work on various types of heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and related equipment.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding repair needs and timelines.
• Must have own tools

Diesel Mechanic Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school certification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a diesel mechanic or heavy truck technician.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, fuel systems, electrical systems, and hydraulics.
• Ability to use diagnostic equipment and hand/power tools safely.
• Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Must be DOT Certifiable, Experience will be verified through DOT Licensed shops for pervious experience

• Applicant may be subject to a background check
