Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract opportunity is available for a highly skilled Staff Pharmacist to provide exemplary pharmacy services in a community setting. This role is ideal for a dedicated professional who thrives in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications and delivering exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately dispense prescription medications in compliance with regulatory and safety guidelines.
- Review and verify prescriptions for appropriateness and potential drug interactions.
- Counsel patients on proper medication use, side effects, and storage.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize pharmacotherapy outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records and manage inventory to ensure efficient pharmacy operations.
- Provide guidance and support to pharmacy technicians and other staff.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Valid pharmacist license.
- Prior experience in a community pharmacy environment.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws, medication therapies, and patient counseling techniques.
