Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist to join our team in Avondale, AZ. This role involves drawing blood from patients and performing specimen processing within a doctor's office setting. The position is crucial for ensuring the accurate collection, entry, and preparation of biological specimens for analytical testing.

Responsibilities

• Collect and receive biological specimens and ensure their proper entry into the computer system.
• Prepare samples for analytical testing and distribute them to the appropriate analytical area.
• Perform specified analytical testing as assigned.
• Adhere to the Code of Conduct guidelines.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in blood draw and specimen collection.
• Experience in laboratory and phlebotomy procedures.
• 1 or more years of prior phlebotomy experience required (excluding donor, plasma, and MA phlebotomy).
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Comfortable working independently.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• GED or High School Diploma required.

Work Environment

The role is based in a doctor's office in Avondale, AZ, working closely with medical assistants. The work hours are Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. The environment offers opportunities for professional growth and promotes internal advancement to leadership roles.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Avondale, AZ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.36/hr.
