A Healthcare System in Zanesville, OH is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Cardiothoracic Surgeon for an ongoing locum tenens assignment. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established team providing comprehensive cardiovascular and thoracic care in a Level II Trauma Center. Practice Details:
Beds in Department: 6
Trauma Level: II Schedule:
Weekdays: Clinic 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM + evening beeper call
Weekends: 24-hour call coverage Credentialing Timeframe:
Full credentialing: ~45 days
Temporary privileges available in as little as 1 week for clean candidates EMR: Epic Clinical Scope Includes:
General CV/Thoracic Surgery
General Vascular Surgery (Open & Endovascular)
Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG)
Congenital Defect Repairs
Valve Repair/Replacement
Aneurysm Repair
Lung Resection
Chest Wall & Pleural Procedures
Esophageal and Diaphragm Surgeries
Permanent Pacemaker & AICD Placement
Left Ventricular Assist Devices (LVADs)
Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR)
Ventilator Management
Bronchoscopy
Central & Arterial Line Placement
Pulmonary Artery (PA) Catheters
Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) Insertion Support Staff:
2 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
12 Dedicated Office Staff Members Requirements:
MD or DO with Cardiothoracic Surgery training
Board Certified/Eligible
Active OH medical license or IMLC qualification
Ability to handle a broad scope of cardiothoracic and vascular procedures
