Job Title: Accounts Receivable Clerk
Location: Phoenix, AZ 85017
Job Type: Full-Time | 100% Onsite | Temp-to-Hire (TTH)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Compensation: $20 – $30/hour, Depending on Experience (DOE)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to support our accounting department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in invoicing, account reconciliation, and collections. This position requires excellent attention to detail, organization, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, onsite environment.

Responsibilities:

• Generate and issue customer invoices in a timely and accurate manner
• Post customer payments and reconcile accounts receivable ledger
• Monitor and follow up on overdue accounts and collections
• Maintain and organize A/R records, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Research and resolve discrepancies in billing or payments
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly A/R reports as needed
• Collaborate with internal teams to verify job and billing details
• Support month-end closing activities related to A/R
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding billing and account status

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounts receivable , accounting clerk , or collections roles
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
• Experience reconciling invoices and maintaining A/R ledgers
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and efficiency
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred, but not required
