Position Summary:

Under the administrative direction of the Chief Nursing Officer, utilize principles of outpatient/emergency care management to provide for the delivery of patient care to individuals and families with emergent/urgent/outpatient needs. Provides administrative direction to development and evaluation of all ER Techs and Nursing personnel assigned to the Emergency and Cardiopulmonary Department. Works with medical staff in the development of standards of care.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. BSN and/or certificate in nursing specialty preferred.
• Licensed and currently registered as a professional nurse in Arizona.
• Two to five years of recent clinical experience in ER Nursing required.
• Progressive leadership experience and history of positive interactions with various levels of emergency response personnel, medical providers, and staff.
• Competence in the emergency management of patients across the age spectrum.
• Current certification in ACLS, PALS (for PALS, must obtain within 6 months of hire if not current) and CPR. Possess or actively seeking CEN Certification and/or advanced trauma training.
