Position Summary

As an Event Operator, you are responsible for executing mobile food service operations at live events. This is a hands-on role focused on reliability, customer experience, and high-volume service.

Key Responsibilities

Load in, set up, operate, and tear down mobile food truck and event concession stations

Produce and serve popcorn in high-volume, fast-paced live-event environments

Manage customer flow, keep lines moving, and deliver friendly, professional service

Represent the Cactus Corn brand directly with event attendees

Handle POS transactions, including cash and card payments, accurately

Assist with end-of-event closing procedures and basic sales reporting

Maintain cleanliness, food safety standards, and equipment care

Travel to event locations across Phoenix

Work nights, weekends, holidays, and peak event seasons

Required Qualifications

(Non-Negotiables)Experience in live-event food service, food trucks, festivals, concessions, catering, or high-volume quick-service environments

Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-energy settings with large crowds

Able to stand for long periods and perform physical event work, including lifting and moving product

Reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance and attitude

Available for nights, weekends, and major event days

Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within Arizona

Preferred Qualifications

(Nice to Have)Food truck or mobile kitchen experience

Stadium, festival, or concession stand experience

POS system or cash-handling experience

Snack food or popcorn production experience

Training is provided for the right candidates.

Weekly pay

Tip and commission opportunities available at many events

Many operators historically earn meaningful additional income from tips during busy games, festivals, and concerts

Tip amounts vary by event, role, and crowd size and are not guaranteed
