Senior Staff Accountant

Position Overview

Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Staff Accountant to join their team in Surprise, Arizona . This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in the Senior Living or Property Management industry who is looking to work in a dynamic environment with an outstanding corporate culture and wonderful leadership!

Responsibilities

• Possess Senior Living industry experience to effectively manage financial operations within this sector.
• Exhibit strong general ledger reconciliation skills to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Utilize advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
• Apply strong analytical skills to support month-end closing processes and financial reviews.
• Provide exceptional customer service by interacting with communities, corporate leadership, and the board of directors.
• Demonstrate a high sense of urgency in all tasks and responsibilities.
• Contribute to a true team environment with excellent leadership support.
• Participate in training conducted in-office, with the opportunity to work from home three days a week and in-office two days post-training.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Accounting or Finance

Required Work Hours

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Additional Details

Salary: $75,000 - $82,800 per year

This role is based in Surprise, AZ, and offers a hybrid work model post-training (3 months in-office).
