Staff Accountant
Phoenix, AZ
Direct Hire
We are seeking a motivated Staff Accountant with 2+ years of experience to support Controller and accounting team on a range of accounting duties.
Background in construction, real estate or development would be a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
Support Controller and staff with daily accounting tasks and special projects
Assist with sales tax filings and compliance
Manage W-9 collection and vendor documentation
Support payroll processing and tax filings
Assist with AP/AR and cash receipts
Prepare and file 1099 reports
Process and reconcile corporate and executive credit cards
Code monthly expenses
Qualifications:
2+ years of general accounting experience
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)
Proficient in Excel and accounting software (Sage preferred)
Growth and advancement opportunities
