Mature, Waldorf Nanny/Family Assistant Heading to Southwest

Greetings Families,

About Me:

I am a Waldorf trained and certified Early Childhood educator (and mama) with over 20 years experience working with Waldorf methods both at schools and, in recent years, providing childcare and home support to private families.

My experience includes working with multiple children of all ages, including supporting families as they adjust to welcoming younger siblings into the home. I am qualified to help children with homework and am experienced with infants, including preemies as well as having worked with children with Learning Differences.

Whether you are a homeschooling family or simply need help with childcare and/or implementing well-rounded home rhythms for the children, I have much to offer a like-minded family with preferences for alternative educational modalities and mindful support of an intentional family home-life. I bring a calm, grounded presence, reliability and a genuine love of children.

For families with concerns around children's media consumption, I understand the challenges inherent in this lifestyle choice. I am happy to work with families to develop creative solutions for   balancing children’s ever-increasing screen-time exposure using developmentally age-appropriate activities to occupy children’s time and facilitate fun and growth, thereby contributing to the creation of quality, holistic, home-life environments.

What I’m Looking For:

I am looking to connect with a compatible family who seeks a caregiver who brings a calm presence and wholesome values to the care of their children along with mindful support in the flow of the family home-life.

After some time traveling, I am now heading to Arizona. I am open to establishing a new home for myself anywhere between Phoenix and Flagstaff (though if you're in Utah or New Mexico, I'm very open to considering other prospects as well; please don't hesitate to reach out)! I am not looking for a live-in position; I hope to establish my own little home, but, again I am certainly open to considering all possibilities.
