What You'll Do

As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for preparing, assembling, inspecting, and finishing prosthetic components while maintaining strict adherence to manufacturing and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Follow established manufacturing procedures, work instructions, and standardized documentation.
  • Maintain accurate assembly records and production documentation.
  • Prepare prosthetic components and materials for assembly.
  • Assemble prosthetic products and components according to defined specifications.
  • Perform finishing and final inspections to ensure products meet quality requirements before distribution.
  • Prepare sub-assemblies for use in future manufacturing processes.
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and rework prosthetic components as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, equipment, and computer systems in a mechanical manufacturing setting.
  • Support Quality Assurance activities, including investigations and root cause analyses.
  • Adhere to all manufacturing processes, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with additional duties and projects as assigned.

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Manufacturing, assembly, mechanical, or related experience is a plus but not required.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 35 pounds.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the workday.
  • Ability to perform repetitive hand movements and detailed assembly work.
  • Ability to work on a computer as needed for documentation and production tracking.
