As our Senior Solutions Architect , you'll be a builder first-someone who thrives in AWS environments and brings an AI-first mentality to architectural thinking. You'll help shape scalable architecture, secure systems, and smart infrastructure choices through hands-on work. This is a role for someone who can connect high-level vision with practical implementation-especially in cloud-native, data-driven platforms . You'll collaborate closely with engineers, influence key technical decisions, and lay the foundation for how we scale our platform to meet growing demand.

This role is onsite in our Scottsdale, AZ headquarters or remote from Austin, TX .

You'll serve as a key partner to engineering leadership-helping us build secure, scalable systems that balance speed with sustainability. Whether designing how services integrate, improving how we manage data, or guiding infrastructure evolution, your work will enable Radix to build faster, more reliably, and with confidence.

• Scalable Systems – Shape architecture through hands-on building and collaboration, driving scalability and reliability across our platform.

• Infrastructure Evolution – Guide the design and improvement of cloud infrastructure, security posture, and platform tooling.

• Security Mindset – Embed security best practices into how we design and operate our systems.

• Integration & Interoperability – Help architect smart patterns for connecting internal services and third-party platforms.

• Engineering Partnership – Work side-by-side with engineers to evolve our architecture through doing, not just designing.

• Shared Standards – Contribute to the documentation, frameworks, and practices that help us build well across teams.

• Collaborate with engineering teams to design, build, and evolve the architecture of our most critical systems.

• Support cloud infrastructure design decisions, including scalability, observability, and security.

• Help define and implement architectural patterns for APIs, services, and data flows.

• Guide decisions around infrastructure growth, cloud usage, and platform tooling in collaboration with engineering leadership.

• Build and maintain architecture artifacts that promote shared understanding without slowing teams down.

• Contribute hands-on to technical initiatives where architecture and implementation meet.

• Stay current on modern architecture, infrastructure, and security trends-and bring practical ideas back to the team.

Experience

• 10+ years in software architecture, infrastructure engineering, or platform-building roles within SaaS environments.

• Proven track record of helping teams scale systems while maintaining high standards of quality and reliability.

• Experience designing and building cloud-based systems on AWS (including familiarity with the AWS Well-Architected Framework ).

• Comfortable with data-driven systems and products , including experience with relational or SQL databases .

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.

• .NET framework experience is a plus .

• An AI-first mindset is essential -you think strategically about how to leverage AI to enhance products and systems.

Skills

• Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures and scalable system design.

• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform or similar), CI/CD, and observability tooling.

• Experience applying security best practices in cloud environments.

• Ability to clearly document and communicate architectural decisions.

• Skilled at balancing pragmatism with long-term vision in technical choices.

Preferred

• Experience in proptech, fintech, or another data-heavy industry.

• Familiarity with Kubernetes and serverless architecture.

• Exposure to building internal tools or platform capabilities for engineering teams.
