Position Overview:

Courtesy Chevrolet, a Courtesy Automotive Group dealership, is seeking a friendly, customer-focused individual to join our team as a Cafe Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving a variety of beverages and food items, and maintaining a clean and inviting cafe environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly and respectfully, addressing any inquiries and providing assistance as needed.
• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, utilizing our point-of-sale system.
• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including coffee, tea, smoothies, and specialty drinks, according to established recipes and quality standards.
• Prepare and serve food items such as sandwiches, pastries, and salads, ensuring freshness and presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe area, including counters, equipment, and seating areas.
• Restock supplies as needed, including food items, cups, lids, and condiments.
• Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including cash handling and cleaning tasks.
• Continuously strive to enhance the customer experience by providing personalized service and anticipating needs.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in customer service or food service preferred.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making changes.
• Knowledge of coffee and espresso beverages is a plus.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Willing to submit to a per-employment drug screen and background check.
