Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Screening Specialist in Chandler, AZ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener in a dynamic tech and communications location, where you will help monitor entry points, screen visitors, verify badges, and support security-related procedures with professionalism and care. - Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a technology-focused location.
- Screen employees, visitors, contractors, packages, and/or materials entering or leaving the location in accordance with site procedures and access protocols.
- Monitor entry points, verify credentials, and document visitor activity to help support authorized access and help to deter unauthorized entry.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, noting unusual conditions and reporting security-related concerns according to site expectations.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
