Summary/Objective
The Interface Custom Solutions Sales Manager will support the Sales Team and customers by providing Custom Solutions that will solve customer challenges while meeting their project goals.
Essential Functions
- Be responsible for supporting the revenue growth objectives of the Custom Solutions product portfolio
- Prepares cost estimates and prices by studying blueprints, requirements, and related customer documents; consulting with engineers and other technical partners as needed
- Develops quotes by using provided tools or by working with the Custom Solutions Sales Director
- Develops sales team by providing technical information and training
- Successfully matches customer requirements to proposed solutions
- Understands all partner products in detail so that this position is a reference for all sales team personnel
Specific Job Functions
- Translate Sales Opportunity/PRFs into RFQs to Partners
- Target same day turn-around due to partner time zone
- Convert Partner Offers into Completed PRF to AE
- Assist AE’s in quoting Custom Solutions products
- Handle technical inquiries to partners
- Manage open PRF and drive to completion
- Process custom solutions MIS
- Manage open MIS from order entry through product shipment
- Vendor offer updates
- Technical review
- Approval drawings
- Scheduling issues
- MIS/PRF Status management/ Engineering meetings
- LCM pipeline ownership – drive opportunities to close
- Custom Solutions pipeline - $20K and up next-step management

Work Environment
The environment will be both inside and outside depending on travel. The position is busy and will require you to work at a fast pace.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee must be able to lift and/or move items over 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Travel
This position requires occasional travel as needed.
Desired Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2-3 Years of experience in technical sales
- CRM (Salesforce preferred), MSOffice, and other office skills a must
- BS/BA Degree or certification in relevant field
