Certified Public Accountant - Remote | WFH

In this role, you will play a key part in preparing and reviewing individual, business, and trust & estate tax returns while building meaningful relationships with clients. Your expertise in tax planning, preparation, and research will be instrumental in ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations while providing top-tier service. ### Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare individual, business, and trust & estate tax returns with accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with clients and team members on income tax planning and special projects.
- Conduct final reviews of tax returns, ensuring accuracy before submission.
- Research and resolve complex tax and accounting issues as they arise.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and exceptional service.
- Assist and represent clients in IRS, state, and other regulatory audits or requests.
- Ensure compliance with professional standards and federal/state tax regulations.

### Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in tax preparation and research, with a focus on income tax returns preferred.
- 1+ year of experience signing off on final tax returns.
- Active CPA or EA certification required.
- Proficiency in tax and accounting software (Lacerte, QuickBooks preferred), Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), and Adobe.

### Compensation & Benefits:
- $90,000 - $110,000 annual base salary (commensurate with experience).
