Dispatcher POST NUMBER: 475003
Vaco Arizona is hiring a Dispatcher for a top company in Tolleson! This is an onsite, contract-to-hire opportunity with a shift from 4:00 AM to 12:00 PM, plus on-call responsibilities every third weekend.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the main point of contact between drivers and management; coordinate and dispatch deliveries efficiently
- Assign routes and schedules based on driver availability and service needs
- Monitor and adjust dispatch schedules as needed to maintain efficiency
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company policies
- Review driver documentation, including pre-trip inspections and reimbursements
- Communicate delivery instructions and real-time updates to drivers
- Collaborate with internal teams and customers to ensure smooth operations
- Handle and resolve dispatch or delivery issues as they arise
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide status updates on orders
- Report any safety concerns or incidents to management
Requirements
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word required)
- Basic knowledge of GPS and routing systems
