Line Cook Job Overview:

Responsibilities:

Food Preparation:

● Execute precise and consistent preparation of ingredients according to recipes and specifications.

● Ensure that all dishes are prepared with attention to detail and presentation.

Cooking and Assembly:

● Cook and plate dishes with speed and accuracy during high-demand periods.

● Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow.

Quality Control:

● Conduct quality checks to guarantee that all dishes meet our standards for taste, presentation, and consistency.

● Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and organized kitchen.

Collaboration:

● Work closely with the culinary team to coordinate and communicate effectively during service.

● Assist in the development of new menu items and contribute ideas for continuous improvement.

Adaptability:

● Thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating flexibility to handle changing priorities.

● Willingness to learn and implement new cooking techniques and menu items.

Qualifications:

● Proven experience as a Line Cook in an upscale or fine dining restaurant.

● Knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety, and sanitation standards.

● Ability to work well under pressure and in a high-volume kitchen.

● Strong communication and teamwork skills.

● Attention to detail and a passion for creating visually appealing and flavorful dishes.

● Current Maricopa County Food Handler’s certification.

Education and Experience:

● Culinary degree or equivalent culinary training is a plus.

● Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Line Cook in a high-end restaurant.
