Hob Title: Aircraft Avionics Technician

Location: Mesa, AZ 85212

Shift: 6:00 am - 3:00 pm; 1 hour lunch

Employment Type: Contract (4-5 Months)

Required Qualifications:
• FAA Airframe and Power plant (A&P) certificate .
• 2 to 10 years of experience in aircraft avionics maintenance.

• Proficiency in reading wiring diagrams and schematics
• Familiarity with aircraft-specific software and diagnostic equipment
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality

Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Aircraft Avionics Technician to join our maintenance and engineering team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in aircraft electrical systems and have experience inspecting, installing, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing avionics systems on a variety of aircraft types.

Key Responsibilities:
• Install, inspect, test, and repair avionics equipment and systems including radar, radio, navigation, and flight control systems.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft to ensure compliance with Company and FAA regulations and safety standards.
• Utilize technical manuals, drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics to guide diagnostic and repair activities.
• Conduct functional tests on systems using diagnostic tools and specialized test equipment.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, service records, and compliance documentation. • Collaborate with other maintenance personnel, engineers, and pilots to resolve technical issues and support flight readiness.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in fast-paced environments

• Strong communication skills for reporting and documentation
• 2+ years servicing Gulf Stream GIV, GV and/or Embraer 135/145 regional aircraft.

Work Conditions:
• Full-time position, with potential overtime and shift work
• Work conducted in hangars, on flight lines, and in various weather conditions

• Physically demanding tasks, including climbing, lifting, and standing for extended periods
