The Retail Sales Associate at Fascinations is an integral part of our store's success, focusing on delivering exceptional customer experiences. Responsibilities Key responsibilities include: Greet customers warmly and provide attentive, nonjudgmental service that reflects Fascinations’ brand values. Learn and maintain product knowledge across categories; recommend items and educational resources based on customer needs. Process sales, returns, and exchanges accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system; handle cash and card transactions with attention to detail. Maintain attractive merchandising and store presentation: restock shelves, conduct pricing checks, and support visual standards. Protect customer privacy and follow company policies for discretion, loss prevention, and safe handling of merchandise. Participate in training, staff meetings, and inventory counts; communicate stock needs and customer feedback to management. Support store sales goals through friendly service, upselling when appropriate, and timely follow-through on customer inquiries. Skills & Qualifications Required qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Customer-service orientation with strong interpersonal skills and a respectful, nonjudgmental approach to sensitive topics. Availability to work part-time onsite shifts at the 32nd St/Bell Rd Phoenix location, including evenings and weekends as scheduled. Basic math skills and comfort using a POS system; reliable punctuality and dependable transportation. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform light physical tasks related to merchandising. Preferred qualifications Retail or hospitality experience, especially in specialty or lifestyle stores. Familiarity with wellness, sexual-health, or apparel products or a demonstrated interest in learning. Bilingual in English and Spanish (advantageous for the Phoenix market). Strong communication skills and a track record of meeting sales or service goals. Comfort with discreet customer interactions and maintaining confidentiality.
