AJ Employment Services is hiring experienced Tax Credit Leasing Consultants for affordable housing communities across the Phoenix metro area.

We specialize in multifamily staffing — connecting professionals directly with leading property management companies who rely on experienced tax credit talent to keep their compliance and leasing operations running strong.

If you’ve worked in affordable housing before, you already know: attention to detail and compliance discipline are everything. We’re looking for professionals who understand LIHTC guidelines, income qualification, recertifications, and the unique responsibilities that come with working in regulated housing.

This is not an entry-level leasing role — this is for someone who knows the process, values precision, and takes pride in helping families find quality housing through affordable programs.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process applications, certifications, and re-certifications in compliance with LIHTC / HUD guidelines
• Conduct community tours and lease apartments to qualified applicants
• Maintain accurate resident files and documentation
• Communicate professionally with residents, management, and compliance teams
• Support occupancy and compliance goals through organized and detail-oriented work

Requirements:

• Previous experience in Tax Credit / Affordable Housing leasing required
• Strong understanding of LIHTC compliance and income qualification procedures
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Experience with property management software (Yardi, OneSite, AppFolio, or similar) preferred
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
