Head of English-Middle and High School => Relocate to China

Job Description: The main duty as a Head of English:

1. Provide strong academic leadership in curriculum design and the formulation of effective teaching and learning practices
2. Provide support to the department in the development and implementation of enhancement strategies in English language teaching and learning
3. Advise and guide teaching teams to successful pedagogical practices and assessment methods for improved learning outcomes
4. Observe andassess teaching and learning
5. Coach teachers and provide support as needed
6. Foster a culture of teamwork and lead the English language team in a cross cultural setting
7. Deliver students enrollment/graduation related speech ect.

1. Master degree in language education or applied Linguistics.
2. Professional qualification in teaching to Junior and Senior High level students will be an advantage, and preference will be given to candidates with training and rich experience working with Junior and Senior High level students.

1. 5+years teaching EFL, preference will be given to candidates who have worked in a Junior and senior High setting
2. 2+yearsin a managerial or supervisory role
3. Experience working in a cross cultural setting is an asset

1. Strong organizational and management knowledge and skills.
2. An understanding of what makes outstanding teaching and learning and the ability to put this into practice.
3. The ability to coach and mentor teachers
4. An ability to forge good working relationships with staff
5. Knowledge and understanding of current developments in Junior and Senior High school and also of relevant wider educational issues

1. Base Salary dependent on qualifications and experience 45, 000-60, 000 before tax monthly;
2. Housing allowance-7,000 RMB before tax monthly;
3. Contract completion bonus-5,000 RMB yearly before tax;
4. Air travel bonus with completion of contract-10,000 RMB yearly before tax;
5. On-site recreational and sports facilities, such as gym, swimming pool, Coffee shop.etc;
6. Beijing social insurance and high standard commercial insurance during the contract period;
