Bilingual SOC Analyst
Akkodis is seeking a Bilingual SOC Analyst for a Contract with a client in Tempe, AZ. You will monitor and triage alerts, execute playbooks, and collaborate with global GSOC teams to ensure seamless incident response .
NOTE: Analysts will be required to have both English and Japanese language skills as well as cultural fluency.
Shift: 3 PM–1 AM Eastern (adjusts with local time zone)
Schedule: 4×10 shifts, either Sun–Wed or Wed–Sun
Rate Range: $50/hour to $55/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Bilingual SOC Analyst job responsibilities include:
Monitor, triage, and escalate security alerts in alignment with GSOC Tier 1 workflows.
Execute established playbooks and thoroughly document all incidents and actions taken.
Collaborate with global GSOC teams, ensuring smooth handoffs and adherence to the GSOC operating model.
Support cybersecurity operations for client evening hours, requiring strong English and Japanese language skills and cultural fluency.
Maintain familiarity with NIST, MITRE ATT&CK, and GSOC best practices, especially within regulated or financial services environments.
Operate in a hybrid schedule at the Tempe office while supporting Business Operations Transfer (BOT) model requirements.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
2–4 years of experience in security operations, incident monitoring, or GSOC/SOC environments.
Bilingual proficiency in English and Japanese, including cultural fluency, to support security operations.
Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, MITRE ATT&CK, and GSOC workflows, with experience in financial or regulated environments preferred.
