Irrigation Service Technician

Wickenburg Landscape, a well-established company with over 45 years of experience serving Wickenburg and the surrounding Arizona area, is seeking an Experienced Irrigation Service Technician to join our dedicated team. Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair residential irrigation systems, including drip and sprinkler systems
• Diagnose and resolve issues with valves, wiring, solenoids, controllers, and other electrical components
• Locate and repair leaks and damaged irrigation parts
• Identify and address low-pressure, coverage, and performance problems
• Program, troubleshoot, and replace irrigation controllers, including smart and Wi-Fi/cellular models
• Independently complete service calls and document all work performed
• Communicate clearly with customers, explaining issues and recommended solutions
• Maintain an organized service vehicle, tools, and inventory
• Collaborate with the office and operations team to ensure seamless service delivery

Qualifications

• Professional experience in irrigation repair and troubleshooting (not an entry-level position)
• Strong knowledge of irrigation valves, controllers, wiring, and electrical diagnostics
• Experience with drip irrigation systems is a plus
• Familiarity with smart controllers, two-wire systems knowledge is a plus not not necessary, and water-efficient irrigation practices is beneficial
• Ability to diagnose problems accurately and recommend effective repairs
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and manage service calls
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Strong attention to detail
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to work outdoors in Arizona weather conditions

Compensation

$23 – $28 per hour , depending on experience. Overtime is paid for hours worked beyond 40 per week.
