Front Office Administrator – Medical Office

This full-time role is perfect for someone who loves working with people, stays calm under pressure, and takes pride in doing things right the first time.

Bilingual (English & Spanish) is a MUST.

What You’ll Do

• Greet patients, answer phones, and respond to inquiries in a friendly and professional manner
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments, and maintain the appointment schedule
• Verify patient insurance information and assist in processing insurance claims
• Prepare and maintain patient charts, including filing patient information and updating patient records
• Manage the front desk, ensuring that the reception area is clean and organized
• Process patient payments and ensure ledgers are correct
• Communicate with patients to ensure that they have a positive experience at the office
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
• Assist with administrative tasks, such as scanning documents, communicating needed supplies, and managing the office's electronic medical records system

What You’ll Bring

• Minimum of two years of medical office experience, with a strong understanding of medical office procedures and terminology
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact with patients in a friendly and professional manner
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• English/Spanish skills are a MUST
• Billing experience preferred but not required
