Accounts Payable Specialist
Job Description:
Job Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable transactions accurately and timely.
- Review and verify invoices and check requests.
- Sort, code, and match invoices.
- Set invoices up for payment and process payments.
- Prepare and perform check runs.
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions.
- Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues.
- Maintain vendor files and correspond with vendors regarding payment inquiries.
- Generate financial reports and assist in month-end closing.
Essential Qualifications:
- Proven work experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist or similar role.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to prioritize and manage workload effectively.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
Desired Experience:
- Experience with accounting software.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
Salary & Benefits:
The salary for this position ranges from $66,000 to $115,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
