Senior Accounts Payable

Description We're seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accounts Payable professional for our client in Tempe, Arizona to manage financial close processes, lead projects, and handle full-cycle accounts payable tasks. This role requires strong analytical skills, advanced Excel proficiency, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: + Manage month-end and year-end close, including journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting. + Prepare documentation for audits and tax reporting (including 1099s). + Lead projects and collaborate with internal teams. + Perform full A/P cycle: vendor onboarding, invoice coding, payment processing, and expense report review. + Maintain procedures and train team members. Requirements Qualifications: + Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business highly preferred + 5+ years of accounting and A/P experience. + Advanced Excel skills + Strong organizational and communication skills.
