About the Role:

As a Collections Agent, you'll be responsible for managing and resolving past-due accounts while maintaining excellent customer relationships. Your primary goal will be to identify reasons for delinquency, negotiate account resolutions, and, when necessary, perform skip tracing to locate customers. Your success will be measured by your ability to reduce delinquent accounts while meeting performance and productivity standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Contact customers with past-due accounts to discuss payment options and resolve outstanding balances

Identify reasons for delinquency and work with customers to find solutions

Negotiate and establish payment arrangements that are mutually beneficial

Perform skip tracing when necessary to locate customers

Maintain detailed and accurate records of all interactions and account statuses

Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations

What You Need to Succeed:

Experience: At least 2 years of collections experience, preferably in a call center environment

Communication Skills: Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills to provide exceptional customer service

Flexibility: Ability to work any shift between 6 AM and 10 PM

Location Requirement: Must reside in the Tempe, AZ area and be available to train onsite for the first 2 months before transitioning to remote work
