Foundation Gift Processing Clerk

In this role, you'll play a vital part in processing financial contributions, maintaining accurate donor records, and ensuring compliance with IRS, GAAP, and AHP standards. What You'll Do:
- Accurately process financial contributions, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Maintain and update donor records, including gift acknowledgments, tax receipts, and financial reports.
- Validate gift entries for completeness and accuracy while assisting in the establishment of gift-entry standards.
- Develop and generate reports related to donor activity, revenue streams, and financial trends.
- Prepare correspondence, including gift acknowledgment letters and tax receipts.
- Research and resolve discrepancies in financial records, ensuring data integrity.
- Sort and process daily mail while supporting various accounting functions as needed.
- Participate in meetings and collaborate with internal teams to improve processes.

What You Bring:
- Education: Associate's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field or at least two years of relevant work experience.
- Experience: A minimum of two years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related role.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage financial data with accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a commitment to continuous learning.
