Job Title: Bilingual Medical Assistant
Location: Sun City, AZ
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $20.50-$24.50 per hour (pay is determined on experience)

About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and patient-focused Bilingual Medical Assistant to join our practice serving the senior population under a Value-Based Care model. This approach allows our providers to spend extended time (approximately 45 minutes) with each patient to build meaningful relationships and deliver high-quality, personalized care. The Medical Assistant will work closely alongside the physician to support both clinical and patient care activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct patient intake, including measuring and recording vital signs and obtaining detailed medical histories.
• Perform examinations and routine screenings.
• Perform phlebotomy (strong skills required).
• Actively listen and engage with patients, reporting all findings to the Primary Care Provider (PCP).
• Process patient phone messages, return calls, and relay information between patients and providers.
• Change dressings, apply bandages, remove sutures, and perform basic first aid procedures.
• Utilize CPR skills when necessary.
• Provide health coaching and patient education to support overall wellness.
• Support a patient-centered care model focused on relationship-building and preventive care.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent Medical Assistant experience.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Experience working with an electronic medical record (EMR) system.
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach.
