With a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, this role offers substantial involvement and a consistent routine. However, if you prefer a more flexible arrangement with reduced hours, that option is also available to better fit your lifestyle. Specific school placements and further details will be provided during the interview process, ensuring a thoughtful match between your skills and the unique needs of each site.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Occupational Therapy licensure or eligibility to practice in Arizona
- Prior experience in a school-based OT setting (preferred, but not required)
- Strong skills in assessment, intervention planning, and collaborative teamwork
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Passion for supporting student growth and wellbeing
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students
- Implement evidence-based interventions to support student participation in school activities
- Collaborate regularly with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Monitor student progress, adjust plans as necessary, and maintain accurate records
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
