Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging one-on-one and small-group tutoring sessions online
- Teach and reinforce concepts in your subject area of expertise
- Create lesson plans and learning materials tailored to each student
- Track student progress and share feedback with families
- Adapt teaching methods to different learning styles and levels
- Maintain a positive, encouraging virtual learning environment
- Communicate scheduling and availability through the online platform
Requirements
- Strong knowledge in at least one subject such as math, science, English, or test prep
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable using video conferencing and online whiteboard tools
- Reliable high-speed internet and a quiet space to teach
- Patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine desire to help students succeed
- High school diploma required; college coursework or degree a plus
- Ability to set and keep a consistent tutoring schedule
