Accounts Receivable Associate - Collections

We are adding an Accounts Receivable Associate - Collections to our team working out of our headquarters in Phoenix, AZ . Pay Range: $19.00 - $23.00/ hourly

What you will do?:

• Accurate, efficient, and effective performance of collections functions, which include but are not limited to:

• Release of orders
• Past term collections
• Aging review
• Statement review
• Credit Card processing

• Work closely with supervisor to become familiar with and meet process, performance, and communication expectations
• Establish and maintain professional business relations with customers
• Effectively research, track, and resolve (or properly refer) accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies
• Maintain confidentiality relating to source documents, data, and reports
• Maintain data integrity of company software systems
• Oversee file maintenance and organization to ensure that information is easily retrieved
• Assume other related duties as required or assigned

What you bring to the table!:

• Minimum two (2) years of related experience, three to five (3-5) years of experience preferred
• Basic understanding of accounting, reconciliations, and collection functions
• Ability to establish effective professional relationships with customers, co-workers, management, and other stakeholders
• Well organized, accurate, and attentive to detail
• Strong time management, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
• Computer proficiency in a Windows environment using MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word), accounting software, and other common programs
